Our Mission

Helping organizations become customer-centric

The CDPa supports businesses in developing customer-centric business strategies by leveraging extensive executive and consultant experience.

What we do

Fostering customer-centric maturity

Customer-centricity is not a single milestone. Our work focuses on the stages an organization moves through as it builds a business strategy around the customer — and on the practical steps that move it forward.

We draw on the combined experience of analytics and marketing leaders who have built data-driven organizations themselves, so the guidance offered here reflects the realities of doing the work inside a company.

How we help

Three pillars of the mission

Customer-centric maturity

Helping organizations assess and grow the maturity with which they put the customer at the center of business strategy.

Guidance at every stage

Supporting businesses at all stages of development, from early intent to established data-driven practices.

Smaller organizations

Recognising and supporting smaller organizations that feel overwhelmed by the scale of the customer-centric journey.

The CDPa exists to help organizations become genuinely customer-centric. Our mission centers on the idea that a durable business strategy should be built around the customer rather than around internal functions, and that meaningful progress comes from deliberate, staged work rather than a single leap. Drawing on the combined experience of analytics, marketing, technology, and business leaders who have built data-driven organizations themselves, we bring practical insight to organizations at any point in their journey, from early adoption of a customer data platform to deeper deployment across roles and departments.

Customer-centricity, in our view, is not one milestone but a continuum of stages an organization moves through as it learns to identify, analyze, and activate valuable consumer data. Our work focuses on the practical steps that move teams forward: building the right data foundations, aligning people and process around shared insights, and putting customer understanding at the center of decisions. Alongside this, the CDPa cultivates a diverse, professional community of CDPs and related leaders through content, events, and shared learning, so the movement toward intentional customer-centricity keeps growing.
