Connect with other customer data professionals and thought leaders in the CDPa network — a collaborative environment for sharing best practices, experiences, and perspectives on customer-centricity.

The Network

A network of analytics and marketing leaders

The Customer Data Professionals Alliance brings together practitioners working across customer data, analytics, and marketing — people who have built data-driven strategies inside real organizations and are open about what worked and what did not.

  • Analytics leadership

Leaders with deep experience in advanced analytics, retail analytics, and consumer intelligence.

  • Marketing leadership

Marketing professionals focused on loyalty, customer engagement, and data-informed decisions.

  • Shared practice

A place to exchange approaches, evidence-based strategies, and lessons from the field.

The community side of The CDPa exists because customer-centricity is easier to talk about than to practice. Practitioners working across data, analytics, and marketing gather here to compare notes on what actually moved the needle inside real organizations and what quietly failed. Conversations range from foundational questions about putting the customer at the center of strategy to the operational realities of activating audiences, analyzing behavior, and identifying valuable consumers worth retaining.

Members of this network bring experience spanning diverse industries and roles, from marketing and technology functions to leadership positions such as heads of data, chief data officers, and other senior appointments. That breadth is deliberate: the alliance is less a job title directory than a working group of people who have spent decades shaping customer data programs and are generous about sharing the tradeoffs, deadlines, and organizational politics that rarely appear in polished case studies.

Peer exchange here is candid by design. Rather than presenting only outcomes, contributors open up about short-lived wins, pandemic-era disruptions, and the difficult middle stretch of adoption when the data exists but the culture has not yet caught up. Conversations about deployment, role clarity, and intentionality make it possible for a newer practitioner to recognize the same patterns that an experienced leader once navigated, saving time and avoiding repeated mistakes.

Beyond discussion, the community emphasizes collective momentum and shared mission. Members follow each other's writing, contribute recommended books and reads, and appear at events and gatherings where CDPs and analytics leaders compare emerging trends in customer data. The result is a durable professional home base — a place to learn, to be heard, to find collaborators, and to keep the discipline of customer-centricity growing through conversation rather than marketing slogans.
